New Outreach Directors

After many months of fundraising, planning, and recruiting we are totally delighted to announce that we have appointed Gavin and Lucy Tyte to be our new Outreach Director.  Sharing the post together Gavin and Lucy each bring a whole range of gifts to the role and we are really excited about what God will be doing through them as they help us develop Rose Cottage as a centre for evangelism, discipleship, community and transformation and as they join our leadership team.  Gavin and Lucy will be moving from Southampton where Gavin is currently curate at St Andrew's, Dibden Purlieu.  They have two wonderful daughters.

Gavin is a member of 'FPE' (Fellowship of Parish Evangelism) and an Associate Minister with the Church of England Fresh Expressions team.  He is a beatboxer and has set up a national website for beatboxers called HUMANBEATBOX.COM.  As well as his training and experience in mission he also is qualified in Sound Engineering from the Manchester School of Sound Recording.  He is currently a trustee and team leader of the Waterside Streetwise Project, a bus outreach ministry to young people.  Alongside all this, his other interests include: creative writing, photography, fishing, playing snooker, music production and web design.  Lucy is very creative, went to Art College and is trained in Textile Design.  She has also worked in a range of Children's work settings, in hospital, care homes and resource centres and has studied child development.  Her interests include calligraphy, cycling, swimming, walking, reading, Pilates, and playing the guitar.

We are delighted that Gavin and Lucy Tyte will be our new Outreach Directors.  Find out more about this new post by watching a video here.  You'll find out about our aims and ambitions for the post, the Job Description, and everything we you need to know by clicking here.  Pray for them...  We still need resources for it all...
