Encounter weekend away

So, the place has been booked, forms are being filled in and people all over Twerton are getting excited about a special weekend away in Oxfordshire. Tory and her team are busy working away in the background determined to make sure that everyone has just the best possible time. No matter what age, we aim to put on a weekend that will linger in the memory for many years to come. And for all the right reasons... great conversations, great food, comfortable beds, lovely scenery, hilarious moments of ridiculousness, beautiful moments of stillness, tender moments of connection, not just with others but with God himself.

Booking is easy. All you have to do is fill in one of these forms and return it to Tory with a deposit. Remember Kids go free!

The timetable of the weekend is being sorted as we speak, but we arrive on Friday evening for supper, and leave after lunch on Sunday. Everything is included in the price! : )

Our Speakers

We are delighted that Mike and Sarah Watkins, formerly from Weston All Saints, but now living in Chippenham where Mike is Team Vicar. Together Mike and Sarah will be leading us through some of the most wonderful stories of encounter in the gospels, and enabling us to encounter Jesus for ourselves in the process. What could be better?

Youth Work

Sam and her team of energetic and amazing youth workers will be aiming to make sure that the young people have the best time of their lives, both in terms of simply having fun and also in their walk with God. Everyone needs to meet Jesus and Sam is hoping that every younger person comes away with one moment when they know that they have met with God for themselves. Real. Potent. Authentic.

Small Children

The great thing about this weekend for parents with young children is that they will find a constant stream of potential baby sitters ready and waiting to entertain their children. Laura will also be heading up a crèche facility for the main sessions to enable parents to receive from God and meet with him without distraction.

The place

Windmill Farm Conference Centre is a beautiful and intimate centre really beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Rae, Tory and I were really excited when we found it because it seems to tick all the boxes.
